This 2 days Akagera camping safari is a short trip that is going to give you a chance to explore Akagera National Park Rwanda’s largest protected conservation area. You will be able to camp and enjoy the sounds in the park during the nighttime. On this same safari, you will be able to have a game drive to spot different wild animals around the park.
On your arrival, you will be transferred to Akagera National Park which is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes depending on many things like checkpoints, traffic, and stopovers, to mention but a few. on arrival at the Akagera National Park, you will head to the camping site while sighting some animals along the way. When you get there, you will set up your camping tents and have lunch will you find already prepared. After relaxing a bit, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to spot different animals in Akagera National Park. After the game drive, you will head back to the campsite for dinner and bonfire night.
Meal plan; lunch and dinner
On day 2 of your safari you will wake up for breakfast, and head for a morning boat cruise on Lake Ihema to spot more animals and birds that are on the shores of the lake. From there after some hours, you will head back to the camping site for lunch. After lunch, you will be transported back to your desired destination or airport for departure.
