On this day, you will be picked up by your safari guide/driver for the next 4 days and will take you through a briefing of the 4-day Uganda Gorilla Photography Tour, including permit for photography, destination, rules and regulations of photography in Bwindi and other necessary information. You may ask any Questions if you have before proceeding with the tour. Later, you will start your amazing 4-day Uganda Gorilla Photography Tour while you embark on an approximately 8-hour drive from Entebbe/Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, taking you through the lush green vegetation of the country and bustling cities. Arrive at the park and proceed to your lodge for dinner and accommodation.
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge and later drive to the park headquarters. Upon arrival, you will be briefed about rules and regulations concerning gorilla photography and conservation of these magnificent gorillas in their natural habitats. After the briefing, begin the trek in search of the gorillas while you capture other wildlife of the park, including different bird species and vegetation types. Depending on the location of the gorillas that day, your trek could last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours.
Once you find the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing and photographing them. The moment you’re granted access to the gorillas, take your time to capture their expressions, interactions, and the details of their surroundings. Later, you will return to the lodge for your relaxation as you edit some of the shots and video clips captured during the gorilla photography trek. Enjoy a relaxed dinner and a peaceful overnight.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge with spectacular views as you capture the sunrise over the misty forests, creating magical views. After breakfast, you will check out and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is Africa’s third deepest Lake, consisting of over 29 Islands, and thus is the most sought-after safari destination after gorilla trekking in Bwindi. You will have recreational activities such as canoeing and relaxation at your next lodge for an overnight stay. Arrive at the lodge and check in for your lunch. After lunch, embark on a thrilling canoe Ride as you explore the iconic islands surrounded by lush green and rolling hills. The canoe ride will take you about 3 hours, and later return to the lodge for a relaxed dinner and overnight at the lodge.
