Overview
We take you to one of Eastern Uganda's top attractions, the Sipi Falls which is located at the slopes of the massive Mount Elgon in Kapchorwa. Sipi Falls is a breathtaking sitewith three majestic waterfalls that stand at approximately 100 meters, 85 meters, and 75 meters respectively, providing a great perspective, place to meditate and a world of wonder.
On the way to Sipi region, you may see the Nile River - world's longest river, lush Mabira forest, one of the country's oldest natural forests, tea and sugarcane plantations, as well as Wanale ridge in Mbale. You'll trek to the waterfalls, snap photos, explore coffee plantations and feel relieved and at ease by the end of this excursion. Your trip starts and ends at the place you are comfortable with, either Kampala or Entebbe international airport.

Our company representative will gladly greet you at the agreed-upon pickup location and be excited to begin your journey to one of Uganda's most spectacular sites, Sipi Falls. The magnificent falls are located in shadows of the massive mountain Elgon and features three huge waterfalls that produce a thunderous sound and an epic aerial view. The journey to Sipi falls takes about 5-6 hours and passes through the lush Mabira forest, fascinating Jinja Bridge, plantations and beautiful hills.
Arrive in Mbale City and have an early lunch before driving to Sipi in the Kapchorwa district, arriving in evening. Guides will happily welcome you to a magnificent treasure before taking you to the start of the climb, heading to the top of the waterfalls, where you may relax and take photos, watch the enthralling falls and bathe if you want.
This hike takes about four hours to cover the three waterfalls, which are roughly 100 meters, 85 meters, and 75 meters tall. Following the joyful occasion, you will return to the lodge for refreshments, dinner, and relaxing camp fire.
Begin the day with hearty breakfast at the lodge, followed by a rewarding coffee tour across the fields. Arabica coffee is one of the greatest in the world, with Uganda's Elgon region producing the majority of it. You will have a taste and purchase some for home after the tour and interaction with the locals. Have an early lunch and depart for Kampala/Entebbe international airport for your flight or any other drop-off destination.
